Arizona dispatch

News from the southwest, where our dear friends Max Eaton and Kristin Sadue (both Camp ‘04) have settled after living in Saranac Lake for a time in the old apartment of another reader, Ned Rauch.

Zeeba

The couple has just adopted Zeeba, a mutt who literally wandered into their lives not long ago. By all appearances, he’s a charming and happy fellow.

In other news from the pair, Maxie just recently published his third title in his “Max and Pinky” series, published by Alfred A. Knopf (the publishing house of many other greats including Cheever, Willa Cather, John Updike, Richard Ford and Carl Hiaasen). “The Mystery,” a description of which follows below, was published Oct. 14.

Maxie

Congratulations!

In today’s mail came this treasure from our compadres in Arizona:

Boot

So sick! It’ll hang high on this year’s Forbes Family Christmas Tree. Thanks!
